private investment? I guess the real question is what happens to the unemployed, or to the affected families that happen to be located in these geothermal sites. will they simply be displaced to some far-off city to linger in their despair? or will government provide them the jobs that they need to keep themselves self-sustained? if so, how would they educate these people about the technicalities that involve geothermal technology. I’m no pessimist, but this proposal leaves a lot of questions in my mind.

Promoting Solar energy technologies and generating electricity for developing countries coud solve many problems related to energy. The North African countries such as Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco have lot of sun during the year. In that contexte, Collaboration between European coutries and these North African coud result in huge energy benefit for both sides.

Its really a remarkable step by Philippine’s Govt. and i wonder about this fact that it would be partially based on Private investment? it would be riskier one for a private party but if successful then it will open the doors for many many economic problems to be solved out… Good luck to Philippine economy….

If the target mentioned by the Philippines is met I hope thing will go really great and time will favor the Philippines and most of their problems will be solved.

Although the target seems a bit high to me according to the conditions of the Philippines but yet if they achieve it, it will be very great!
